Hello, my name is Sara Cuesta and I am a freshman at Chico State University. My major is Liberal Studies and I am thinking of minoring in Child Development.Since I have been five years old I have always longed for the day that I get to start my career in teaching. My dream has always consisted of me working with a kindergarten class and helping every student in a different way. I am from Canyon Country California, which is southern California. I am ten minutes away from Magic Mountain and close to the heart of L.A. I believe I am a very patient person and love to help the lives of others. I am involved in multiple organizations here on campus and in my community. I was recently involved in Up 'Til Dawn and now I'm involved in Catalyst (building houses for abused women and children), Sunshine Kids Club (disabled and non disabled children), Animal Rights( which is an on campus promotion of mistreatedanimals) and finally the Jesus Center ( which was collecting food and cloths for the homeless). I love being involved and feeling like I am making a difference. I feel like if I make a difference in others life then my life will be complete. I love helping and being active within the community. Right here is my annotated bibliography of what I did on my project and the steps I took to get here. I volunteered for the Jesus Center and helped collect caned foods and distribute paper bags. |
